Katy's life has been deeply rooted around a love of sport and leading a healthy, active lifestyle and her life's work has been about passing on that passion! Katy has been an elite sportsperson for the last six years, working within high performance teams, uniquely placed to offer a perspective on training to her clients that not many others can. Katy's philosophy when training clients is; simple, specific, progressive, consistent and most importantly fun! Her specialisms are strength training, muscular endurance as well as weight management. Katy is also passionate about working with people who have had injuries or are managing long term health conditions. Katy had major hip surgery a year ago that left her bed bound for many weeks, and she knows how difficult it can be to manage training. With this in mind, Katy is able to adapt and explore different training techniques to ensure each client can benefit and improve. Katy believes in listening to your body, empowering people and guiding them to reach their full potential.
