He has experience working with all ages, experiences and abilities, ranging from international athletes to complete beginners, and is experienced in working with clinical populations due to his AHCS accreditation as a clinical exercise physiologist.

Q&A with
Ben

What is your favourite way to train?

I love training both in the gym and out on peaceful long runs, so it would be hard to choose just one! I believe that good company makes a massive difference when training, so given the choice I'd always have a workout partner or two.

What is the number one thing on your bucket list?

Move to a warmer country for work during the dark winter UK months, and not have to deal with cold, dark, dismal 5am starts between October and March each year!

Tell us a fun fact / something we don't know about you!

I share my birthday with both my older sister and my cousin (and also Katy the Summertown PT!), and was born 6-weeks early.

Something you are proud of?

Probably being accepted onto, and then graduating from, my degree in Exercise Physiology from Loughborough University. I had decided that it was the only Master's degree I wanted to complete, and to be accepted onto a course with so few places, at an institution consistently ranked as best in the world in my field, meant a lot to me.
